Heritage Volunteers
NADFAS Heritage Volunteers help to conserve our heritage both in Britain and in parts of Europe.
WDFAS has about 15 members who have volunteered to help.
WDFAS formed an association with Elmbridge Museum and it was hoped to develop the relationship further. Volunteers have helped with a variety of projects, including the making of padded coathangers for the textile collection, scanning and cataloguing photographs, and beginning the process of auditing architectural plans. As of November 2009, there have been logistical problems in developing the association with Elmbridge Museum. An alternative possible arrangement elsewhere is being investigated. Details to follow.
