Membership

We currently have 286 members. The number of members is limited by the capacity of our lecture venue.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact our membership secretary, Liz Moore, by emailing memsec@weybridgedfas.org.uk

She will be delighted to send you a registration form to be completed and returned with a non-refundable registration fee of £10.

The annual membership fee is currently £40 per member.

As of mid December 2011 (excluding new members joining in January 2012) there are about 28 prospective members on our waiting list. Our year runs from January to December. The number of our members not renewing their membership at the end of the year varies between a minimum of about 8 and a maximum of about 30, so people on the current waiting list can expect to wait perhaps about 1 or 2 years, depending on the number of current members not renewing their membership at the end of 2012, and their position on the waiting list. If you are on the waiting list and you would like to know your position on it, please email Liz Moore and she will be happy to tell you.

Sometimes, if we have spare places on visits or special interest days, we do contact prospective members on our waiting list to ask them if they would be interested in coming along.

In fairness to those on the waiting list, once you become a member of WDFAS we do not allow you to become or continue as a member of another NADFAS society.
