Venues and Parking
WDFAS lectures are held at Whiteley Village Hall, Octagon Road, off Burwood Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey KT12 4EH. The hall seats 180 persons. Click here for location map.

Whiteley Village Hall
Whiteley Village is a 200 acre model village founded on the instructions of William Whiteley, the owner of a famous Bayswater department store who in 1907 left £1m in his will to provide homes for, in his words, "aged poor persons". It is Grade II listed.

WDFAS lectures are held in the Village Hall which is equipped with an induction loop system.
General details of Whiteley Village and its history are to be found at www.whiteleyvillage.org.uk however please note that all communications relating to WDFAS lectures at the Village must be via WDFAS.
Entry to Whiteley Village is only by the North Gate, off Burwood Road. Parking is limited and you are requested to share transport wherever possible. Parking is signposted and is normally on the grass as directed by the Stewards. You may only park on the roads when directed to do so by the Stewards. The Warden of Whiteley Village and your Committee ask for your full co-operation with these arrangements.
WDFAS Special Interest Days are normally held at the Riverhouse Barn at Walton-on-Thames.

riverhouse is an arts venue built around an 18th century barn on the river in Walton-on-Thames. Opened to the public in 1989, it is a performance space, art gallery, craft studio, café-bar and garden with free on-site parking. |
